A former pupil of Madras College is making his mark in football achievement in North America.
Greg Dawson, who left the St Andrews school in the summer of 2008, was awarded a soccer scholarship to play and study at the University of Maine at Machias in New England.

Greg was again the top scorer in the Sunrise Conference League in the North Eastern United States and has been chosen for the regional All Conference Team for two years in succession.

He scored 12 goals and had seven assists in 17 games in the 2009 season for the Maine at Machias Clippers.

Greg was a former member of the all-conquering Madras football team that reached the final of the Scottish Schools Senior Shield at Hampden Park in 2008.
