ST ANDREWS swimmer Scott Goadby was in top form at the Scottish Schools Championships on Saturday.
Scott continued his winning ways when he won his first Scottish title in the championships at Tollcross, Glasgow.
Qualifying as the fastest 12/under from his record-breaking swim in the 50m breastroke in the Fife Schools in November, Scott needed to continue this form to secure a medal in the final.
The Lawhead Primary Seven pupil dominated both his heat and final on Saturday and was awarded his first Scottish Schools title with an impressive time of 39.57s, nearly three seconds ahead of Greg Turner, also from Fife, who finished in second place
The top 20 swims from all over Scotland proceed to the finals in Tollcross. Full results can be seen at www.swimscotland.co.uk/ meets10/SSchools10/index.htm
