MADRASCAL P3s won a stunning tournament victory on Sunday going through all their matches undefeated in Edinburgh on Sunday.
The P3s were also the only winning team to win the fair play award for their year.
The first match was a convincing 4-1 win against North Berwick. Try scorers were Aaron Ramsay (2), Alastair Primmer and Rory Seymour.

A 6-2 win against Watsons (2) saw the P3s demonstrate their prowess. Try scorers were Alastair Primmer (4), Ror
y Seymour and Campbell Palmer.

Campbell Palmer (2), Jack Turner and Kasai Foreman all went over against Currie in the final group match which finished 4-1.

The semi-final against Watsons (3) was won at a canter (7-2 ). Scorers were Rory Seymour (2), Jack Turner, Neill Stewart (2), Campbell Palmer and Kasai Foreman.

A 6-1 win in the final against Watsons (2) was the result of great open play and superb cover tackling. Scorers were Jack Turner, Aaron Ramsay (2), Kasai Foreman, Alastair Primmer and Campbell Palmer.

Their coach was most impressed by the team's support play and their much improved passing disciplines alongside their fair play.
The team were presented with a plaque and medals for their day's efforts.

P5: The P5 squad of Jamie Ingledew, Finlay Irving, Archie Grieve, Ben Levy, Edward Shannon, George Lorimer, Alex McLeod, Matthew Baddeley and Josh Cumming failed to record a win but put up a spirited display.

Ingledew and Grieve scored in a 4-2 loss to Boroughmuir while Grieve, Levy and Baddeley went over against Edinburgh Accies in a 5-3 defeat.

The final game was against Stewart's Melville and the boys were a bit tired and were outplayed by a larger and fresher squad.

P6: The P6 team learned a very harsh lesson in rugby at Edinburgh Accies when they fell foul of "local rules" and failed to adapt to them.

In a close opening game, only the use of hand-offs and ball targeting stopped the team holding their hosts.

In the match against a Watsons team, the players showed their ability with a good running and passing game which gave them a 6-1 victory.

In their final game, they were deprived of a semi-final spot when the referee failed to count all tries scored and despite both sides' coaches making the result 3-3, the referee ruled it to be 3-2 in favour of Stewart Melville letting them go on.

The team showed good sportsmanship in accepting the referee's ruling despite the obvious disappointment it caused.
