Dundonald will have to do it all over again with Yoker in the Scottish Cup third round.
The sides met at Moorside on Saturday but neither could break the deadlock in a hard fought 0-0 draw.
The home side had Carstairs to thank when a great tackle prevented Yoker from taking the lead.
The game was flowing from end to end with both teams playing some nice passing football.
The best chance of the second half fell to Dundonald midfielder Hendry when Wallace’s pass found him inside the box but his shot went just wide.
Both teams will have to do it all again next week but a draw was a fair result and both teams should be congratulated for producing an entertaining match on a difficult surface.
Bluebell have also this week announced the signing of Lyall Shaw from Hill of Beath.
Coach Tommy Roxburgh has left Dundonald to take up a coaching role with Burntisland Shipyard.
Kirkcaldy YM grabbed a deserved point from their trip to Luncarty, returning to Denfield with a 3-3 draw.
YM who went ahead when Ryan Robertson’s looping effort beat Mitchell in the home goal.
The home side then levelled before grabbing another to take the lead.
Sam Graham hauled YM level but Luncarty again went in front from the penalty spot.
But Graham got his second goal of the game, also from the spot, to ensure a point.
On Saturday YM weclome Scone Thistle while Thornton face Forfar.
