A quirk in the fixture list saw GCC 1st XI travel along the A92 to Freuchie whilst the 2nd XI hosted Freuchie’s 2nd XI at Gilvenbank.
To spice things up further GCC 3rd XI hosted Dunnikier from Kirkcaldy on the small oval. Meanwhile GCC 4th XI headed across the Forth to take on Leith FAB in Edinburgh.

Rizwan came back on at the end of the innings and in the first over picked up the wicket of Naeem for 46 caught at long off by Vasu Reddy which turned out to be the first wicket of an incredible hat-trick, with the next man bowled and then his third in a row caught at slip by Hudson with the score now 137/9.
Chris Greaves came on to bowl some leg spin and got the final wicket to leave Freuchie all out for 142.
The Glens openers headed out to the middle and for the third time this season and second game in a row batted well enough to ensure a comprehensive 10 wicket win. Next week the Glens welcome second placed Carlton CC to Gilvenbank hoping to make it 9 wins from 9 matches and end the first half of the season with 100 per cent record intact.
The Glens 2nd XI took 24 overs to chase down the total, finishing the match on 91/3 with top scorers Robinson (50) and Hopcroft (20).
GCC 3rd XI bowled out Dunnikier for 174 in the 34th over and comfortably finished 175/2.
