AMsoccer Club is quickly developing a reputation for being one of the country’s best breeding grounds for young footballers.

That was backed up this week when three of its youngsters signed profesional youth contracts with Fife Elite Football Academy.

AM academy players Dino Leddie (U15s), William Reid and Lewis McGlashan (both U10s) have signed with Fife Elite following impressive spells on trial.

AMsoccer club work in relation with Fife Elite and offer a pathway for players from 7 aside to 11 aside football into professional youth football. With this in mind, Fife Elite head of youth Stephen Wright feels that AMsoccer Club is a fantastic base for players to learn the game and develop.

He said: “When the Fife Elite Academy was formed a year ago it was recognised that it was important to establish working relationships with boys club in the Fife region. The signing of a number of players from AMsoccer Club, a club of significant standing in Fife football circles, is an indication of the progress we have made in establishing these relationships.

“I am delighted that we have such an esteemed club working with us to promote the opportunity of playing football at elite level in Scotland for Fife based players without having to travel out with the Fife region.”
