A Buckhaven man who admitted repeatedly sending a woman messages, calling her abusive names and uttering threats towards her has been fined £300.

Kieran McAuley, of Mavis Court, appeared before Sheriff Williamson at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

McAuley, 47, admitted between November 3 and November 11, 2019 at Mavis Court, Buckhaven, Station Road, Glenrothes and elsewhere he repeatedly sent a woman messages, called her place of work, called her abusive names and uttered threats towards her.

Sheriff Williamson fined McAuley £300 and placed him on a 12-month non-harassment order.
