East Fife FC are to increase their ground capacity for the visit of Rangers on October 26.
Work has already started on the creation of a standing terracing at Bayview which will house away fans only.
The terracing will only open on certain match days as a spokesman for the club told the Mail: “If you’re down at Bayview you’ll see some pretty pink scaffolding going up behind the goals and alongside the opposite side of the pitch.
“This will create additional standing terracing capacity for 3500 supporters for away fans only.
“The conditions mean we have to get permission every time we use it and that involves costs for inspection and certification which means it would not be financially worthwhile to open it for every game.”
Season ticket holders must pick up a separate match ticket for the game by October 25.
Those who travel to Bayview can contact the club and have their ticket posted.
Extra tickets can be bought by Supporters’ Trust members of the Supporters Club or season ticket holders until Friday, October 11.
