Change in extremes for Sean

NEW East Fife forward Sean Jamieson says he can’t believe the turnaround in his footballing fortunes.

The summer signing was lining up for East Lothian junior side Haddington just a few months ago but was last night (Tuesday) part of an East Fife squad which visited Ibrox to face Rangers.

Jamieson, who is being backed in his new career with the Fifers by Edinburgh boutique business centre 23 Melville Street, the company sponsoring his playing kits for the new season, said: “I still can’t believe how things have changed over the last month or so. I think it’s still sinking in.”

Jamieson (22) had a prolific record at Haddington, netting 64 times in 72 games – a record which brought him to the attention of Bayview boss Gordon Durie.

He’s the first East Fife player to have all three kits funded by a sponsor – a testament to his potential, according to 23 Melville Street managing director Brian Cormack.

He said: “We’re delighted to support Sean at this crucial and very exciting point in his career.”
