EAST Fife’s glorious history is to be celebrated at a special dinner event next year.
The Methil club is making plans to celebrate both its 110th year running as a senior club and also the 75th anniversary of the famous Scottish Cup win.
The dinner is to be hosted at Buckhaven’s Community Centre on May 25 with legendary players and former managers among the invited guests.
The event will cost £50 per person, which will cover all costs of the evening, with tickets expected to be on sale before Christmas.
The club has announced that Leven actor Clive Russell, known for his roles in ‘Still Game’ and ‘Coronation Street’, among many others, will also be at the event.
Another well-known face, former Dunfermline Athletic boss and Provost of Fife, Jim Leishman, is also expected to be at the dinner, which will celebrate the history of the Fife club.
