EAST Fife have announced the signing of striker Gareth Wardlaw.
The 33-year-old brings with him a wealth of experience which is sure to be an asset to the club.
He will be well known to East Fife fans, as in recent years he has scored three times against the black and gold while playing for Cowdenbeath a couple of seasons ago.
Wardlaw began his senior career at the relatively late age of 25 when he signed for Ayr United from Burntisland Shipyard in November 2004.
After 111 appearances over four seasons for the Ayrshire men – during which he scored 28 goals, Wardlaw returned to Fife to sign for Raith in May 2008 before moving on to Cowdenbeath a year later, where he netted 19 goals in 38 appearances.
He then followed Cowden manager Danny Lennon to St Mirren in July 2010, before returning for a second spell with Ayr United in June 2011.
