Thornton Hibs go into Saturday’s last game of the season knowing a single point will guarantee promotion to the East Premier League.
However, the postponement of the appeal hearing into Downfield’s 15-point deduction, which was due to take place on Tuesday evening, means the Memorial Park side will still not know if they will be crowned champions even if they pick up a result against Lochee Harp.

Boss Craig Gilbert said it will be an exciting few days for the club.
“The appeal will be hanging over us until the outcome is announced, but I think the 15-point deduction will stand,” he said.
Gilbert said Saturday’s match will be difficult but he is confident of getting the point required.
“There are going to be a few hundred coming along, so it’s going to be bouncing,” he said.
“I’m hoping Lochee turn up with their towels and sandals, but our boys are too experienced to become complacent.
“It’s going to be hard but we don’t want this great run to be in vain.
“Hopefully, we’ll get over the line.”
