St Andrews United take a break from their unbeaten start to the East Region Premier League season when they entertain South Division side Dunbar United at The Parkk in the First Round of The East Of Scotland Cup.
Saints boss Phil McGuire is forced in to changes with injury forcing out leading scorer Robbie Holden whilst Daryn Smith, Liam Campbell and Sam Buchan will also be missing.
It is hoped that full back Darren Kelly may be fit to return however he is rated at only 60/40.
There is a possibility that a couple of new faces may be brought in prior to the game, however, trialists are not permitted in the cup competitions.
Dunbar have had a similar start to the season as Saints, winning four and drawing one of their first five games but unlike table topping United they only sit third behind Rosyth and Haddington, so will be no push overs.
There are changes behind the scenes as well with physio, Stephanie Barron, and assistant manager Stuart Milne taking part in their last games for the club.
Stephanie returns to her University studies in Lancashire while Stuart returns to his director of football role at St Andrews University now that the students are starting to return.
If anybody is interested in taking on Stephanie’s role then they are asked to contact the Secretary for more details.
Kick off at The Parkk on Saturday is 2.30pm .
Season tickets are not valid for cup games.
