The Scottish Junior Cup kicks-off on Saturday for two local sides.
Thornton Hibs welcome Ashfield to Memorial Park - a Central League Division One side from Possilpark in Glasgow.
Ashfield were relegated from the West Superleague last season and although they used to be one of the top junior clubs in the country, with four Scottish Cups to their name, they are now one of the smaller teams in their region.
Glenrothes meanwhile travel to Aberdeen to face Sunnybank, one of only two clubs from the Granite City to lift the Scottish Junior Cup, their success coming in 1957.
Kennoway Star Hearts received a first round bye so are in league action away to Forfar Albion, who are bottom of the North Division on zero points.
