Junior Football: Take two for big cup tie

Glenrothes Juniors will make a second attempt to play their Scottish Cup last 32 tie at home to Yoker Athletic on Saturday after last weekend’s match was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The cancellation may have worked in Glens favour as manager Benny Andrew was facing a striker selection crisis last week, and he will hope to have a few forwards back in the line-up this weekend.

Kennoway Star Hearts are in a similar boat as, for the second Saturday running, they will attempt to play their North Division fixture away to Newburgh after East Shore Park was deemed unplayable at the weekend.

Thornton Hibs trip to Dundee East Craigie in the East of Scotland Cup was also postponed and moved to this Saturday. Kick offs are 1.45 p.m.
