Raith Rovers manager Grant Murray has challenged his team to complete a perfect week by claiming a third home win in a row when Hibs visit Stark’s Park on Saturday.
Rovers followed a 2-1 victory over Alloa last Saturday with an impressive 3-0 win over Queen of the South in midweek, and with confidence high, Murray hopes his team can rise to the occasion against the promotion hopefuls.
He said: “Hibs is a scalp we’d love to take at home to give the fans something to enjoy and be excited about.
“It’s important we let the players rest up after the recent run of games - there were a lot of tired bodies on Tuesday - because you have to work your socks off to win games in this league.
“We’ve got six points from six, and we’ll be aiming to make it nine.”
Christian Nade will return from suspension but Murray is likely to keep faith with the strike partnership of Lewis Vaughan and Mark Stewart who scored five goals between them in the last two games.
“Their work-rate has been fantastic,” Murray said.
“They caused Alloa and Queens all kinds of problems.”
