Tayport and Petershill will meet again tomorrow in a bid to conclude the saga of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup third round.

This time, the artificial surface at Petershill Park is the venue and it is hoped that this game will get the green light at the first time of asking.

An away trip in the ‘Scottish’ holds no fears for Tayport, but they will have to be at their best to progress to a fourth round meeting with Dunbar United.

Unfortunately, ‘Port will be without Derek Wemyss, who was sent off in the goalless draw on the Canniepairt.

Work commitments could also rule out Brian Livie.

Otherwise, manager Willie Garner will have a strong squad from which to select.

The bench looked strong last weekend, with Mark Whatley, Lee Bryce and Chris Anton coming on, and Stevie McManus and Ronnie Kenneth joining Frazer Fitzpatrick as unused substitutes.

Elsewhere in the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup last week, Auchinleck Talbot beat Linlithgow Rose 2-1, while Hill ‘o Beath won 3-1 at Forfar West End.

Lochee United will be hugely disappointed to exit the competition at the hands of Renfrew, who won 3-2 at Thomson Park.
