Tayport will return to McBookie.com East Premier League action tomorrow after four weekends of postponements and cup football.

There have been plenty of positives in the games that have gone ahead.

‘Port drew with Super League Jeanfield Swifts a few weeks ago, only to exit the DJ Laing East of Scotland Cup on penalties, then, Sunnybank were crushed last week in the GA Engineering Cup.

Player-boss John Ovenstone will be hoping that his charges can carry that cup form into league business, as the Canniepairt men look to get back into the promotion hunt.

Armadale, on the other hand, are involved in a relegation battle, and currently sit third from bottom of the table.

In recent months, they have won on the road at both Tranent and Bathgate, so Tayport will certainly not treat their opponents lightly.

Gary Sutherland will be keen to force his way into the starting XI, having re-joined from North End.

The striker has not had the chance of any game-time yet as he was cup-tied for the matches against Jeanfield and Sunnybank.

Fellow forwards Alan Tulleth and Dale Reid will to keep their places in the side, having both netted trebles last weekend.

The gaffer missed out himself last week, due to a hamstring injury.

Kick-off is on the Canniepairt 2.15pm.
