Glenrothes Juniors will be aiming to make it a magnificent seven when Arbroath Vics visit Warout Stadium on Saturday.

Glens have made a stunning start to the 2015/16 league campaign, unbeaten in six, and currently sit at the sumit of the McBookie.com North Division.

We’re a big scalp and everybody will want to beat us

The side has yet to taste defeat and the only points dropped came in a 0-0 draw against fellow promotion hopefuls Downfield.

Boss Benny Andrew says the lofty league position will come with added pressures - but expects his side to cope.

“Teams will be looking at us now and trying to make it harder,” said the boss.

“We’re a big scalp and everybody will want to beat us.

“But at the weekend we scored a good three goals against East Craigie and I was pleased with how patient we were. It wasn’t quite happening early on but we just stuck at it and eventually it came.

“Last season we maybe wouldn’t have had that patience and if we hadn’t scored or went a goal down we’d get into a blame game.

“People will now fancy us to beat Arbroath Vics but those are the games you need to make sure you’re at it and you don’t slip up.”
