Kirkcaldy YM continued their recent resurgence in the McBookie.com North Division as they shocked Kennoway at Treaton Park.

The visitors looked to have a difficult afternoon on their hands when they fell two goals behind early on through Jordan Ovenston and Liam Craig.

But the Denfield side showed their character and were level thanks to a Grant Blyth effort before Sam Graham equalised from the spot.

YM went in search of the three points and found themselves two goal to the good when Mikey Ness added a double to make the score 4-2.

Craig pulled another back for Kennoway but it was all too late.

This Saturday Kirkcaldy face a daunting trip to Superleague side Linlithgow Rose in the East of Scotland Cup first round.

Dundonald returned from their trip to Broughty Athletic with all three points thanks to a hard earned 1-0 win.

Dundonald wrapped up the win when the ball was bundled home following a scramble in the Broughty box.

On Saturday Bluebell will be involved in a tasty looking local derby when they travel to Glenrothes.

Daniel McNab claimed his first ever hat-trick in a green and white jersey as the Hibs romped to an 8-1 win over Forfar Albion.

Matthew Gay, Garry Thomson and Raymond Crichton all chipped in with goals during the rout.

Ryan McNeil was ordered-off for a second yellow card offence for the Hibs.

Thornton are on East of Scotland Cup duty on Saturday when they welcome North Division rivals Lochee Harp.

Craig Gilbert’s men currently sit in fifth place in the league with their visitors in eighth.
