ANSTER HADDIES

Four Haddies took part in The Law Breaker race near Tillicoultry. Jonny Knox finished in 41:49, Cameron Knox in 49:35, Jake Grieve in 51:23 and Lizzie Knox in 1:09:35.

The Strawberry Novice races at Cairnie fruit farm are always popular.

There were some future talents in action in the primary four age group race. Ruby Methven finished in 6:01 and Lucy Nuttall in 7:02.

Ailsa Cruickshanks finished the junior race in 12:22 and David Nuttall completed the adult two mile race in 14:32.

Despite the rain, five Haddies braved St Andrews Park Run on Saturday morning.

Duncan Hall and Tracy Chalmers both had course PBs with times of 20:30 and 26:06.

Ewan Cameron finished in 23:00, David Burgess in 23:02 and Richard Bevans in 26:05.

Jonny Knox was fifth overall in Dollar Hill race, finishing in 1:28.

Debz Hay finished in 2:15:42, Pamela Cruickshanks in 2:18:20, Alice Hall in 2:18:23 and George Hay in 2:35:35.

Elise Methven took part in her first competitive triathlon in Edinburgh at the weekend.

She completed the 400 metre swim, 10K cycle and 5K run in an overall time of 54:29.
