Methilhill make a solid point in two-each draw

ON Saturday Methilhill Strollers travelled to St Andrews for a Premier League clash.

After 10 minutes St Andrews were awarded a penalty and the striker slotted home to make it 1-0.

On 20 minutes the Strollers should have equalised when a through ball from Jit Singh was met by Craig Seath who hit the ball straight at the keeper.

Ten minutes later the same ball through from Singh was met by Craig Seath, this time the striker made no mistake to make the score 1-1.

Just before half time St Andrews scored again when a back pass to the goalkeeper was kicked straight at the striker and the number 10 made no mistake, running through to an empty net.

In the second half it was all Methilhill chance after chance.

On 55 minutes Craig Seath was brought down in the box.

This time a penalty to the Strollers. Calum Thompson stepped up and drilled home to make it 2-2.

Corner after corner the Methil men continued to pamper the St Andrews goalmouth.

With time almost up a through ball by Darrin Forrest was met by Lee Duffy who hit the cross bar.
