Shukokai Karate students enjoy double success

Shukokai Fife karate kids with their medals

TWO Glenrothes girls won medals in the first two competitions of the year which were entered by Shukokai Karate students.

Amber Braid from Glenrothes won a gold medal and Phoebe Gillespie from Leven claimed bronze in the event at Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edimnburgh.

A week later, at the Wishaw Grand Prix, Alana McCann, who trains in Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, won a bronze.
