ALMOST 50 riders headed to Drumcarro for the penultimate round of the East Neuk Wobblers motorcycle trials.

Colinsburgh’s Allan Adamson took first place honours in the A route, with Leven lad Paul Anderson second and Colinsburgh’s David Anderson in third.

Also doing well were John Adamson from Colinsburgh in fourth place and Pittenweem’s David Smith in sixth.

In the youth categories, Jamie Duffus from Leven won the youth A (B route) after recovering from a shoulder injury. Connor Smith won the youth B (A route) with Gordon Peebles of Colinsburgh in third.

Maggie Adamson from the group told the Mail: “Thanks to Michelle for the soup, Hamish for the use of the ground, and to the lads who helped set out the trial and bring in the flags.

“Our next event is a training day at Drumcarro on November 25. Legendary trials rider Nigel Birkett will be attending, so riders can benefit from his years of experience and considerable skills. “
