It was a busy weekend for Fife AC, with the club’s athletes taking to the roads and track across the UK.

Members were racing in high class fields as showed their ability to compete with top athletes from other clubs.

The club’s stand out performance of the weekend came courtesy of Annabel Simpson, who won the silver medal in the 3000m at the British Universities Indoor Championships in Sheffield in only her first year at the event.

The first year dental student at the University of Glasgow ran an outright personal best of 9.46.99 and was second only to Commonwealth Games 800m finalist Jessica Judd.
