PRIME Minister David Cameron met representatives from the GB team to wish them luck before they head off to the Special Olympics World Summer Games.

Caitlin Dodds from Elmwood College and Disability Sport Fife was one of the athlete representatives.

The seven athletes representing Special Olympics GB at Downing Street will join a team of 150 athletes and players with a learning disability on Sunday, June 19, when they depart for the games in Athens.

They will be accompanied by 58 volunteer coaches, and will compete against 7000 athletes from 180 countries.
