Glenrothes Cricket Club will be hosting its annual Sixes tournament on Sunday.
The event gets underway in Riverside Park at 11am.
Club spokesman, Brian Corr, said: “As always there has been loads of interest from local businesses and organisations looking to enter teams in what is always a fun event and a great day out for all the family.
“In what’s been yet another wet summer, we haven’t let it dampen our spirits at the club and the tournament co-ordinator, Kenny Crichton, has pulled out all the stops to try and ensure all the players and spectators in attendance have an excellent day out.
“If the cricket ‘slog-fest’ in itself doesn’t keep you entertained, Kenny has also organised a DJ, bouncy castle plus free food and drink for all.
“Confirmed teams so far include ASDA, Cluny Clays, AM Sports Tours, LiveSport.co.uk, Edinburgh Trams, CustomSportStore.com, Lothian and Borders Police and more.
“It’s completely free to enter a six-a-side team and with fun being the name of the game, no cricket experience is required.
“If you just want to come along and watch or simply to learn more about the club then plenty of our players will be on-hand at the park to answer your questions.”
