EAST Fife Ladies were back in league action against an Arbroath side they had never met before in a league tie.

And the Methil women overpowered their rivals by racking up a mammoth 15-1 score.

Wylie slotted the ball home from the penalty spot to give the Fifers an early lead.

Anderson then got the second with a long-range effort, before an own goal made it 3-0.

Wylie got her second of the match, while Skivington securedd a seven-minute hat-trick with excellently-taken efforts in the 18th, 22nd and 25th minutes.

The eighth goal came after a fine defence- splitting pass from Clark met the sliding Anderson, who prodded the ball beyond the advancing ‘keeper.

Skivington then added her fourth goal, and the game’s ninth, just before half-time.

Arbroath came out with refreshed determination in the second half and scored a goal.

Fife reasserted their dominance with Clark pushing the ball home from a Wylie cross and Skivington adding her fifth goal three minutes later.

Anderson then got her hat-trick and Clark added her second in the 82nd minute, after a cross from Anderson swept in at the back post.

McAllistair, Flatt and Wylie also scored.
