GOLFING ladies in Leven took time out from regular competition play to make a very worthy charity donation.

The ladies’ section from Leven Golfing Society staged a raffle during their recent Open Greensomes contest at Leven Links and gathered a total of £232 for Homestart, the charity which aims to increase the confidence and independence of families by visiting them to offer support, friendship and practical assistance, encouraging parents’ strengths and emotional well-being for the benefit of their children, and more.

A presentation, pictured above, was made at the Leven clubhouse in which Kay McLeary of Homestart collected the cheque from ladies’section member Kay Falconer and captain Liz Hunter.
