FORMER Cupar man Ian Logan was runner-up in the Scottish Standard Triathlon at Strathclyde Park, the venue for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games event in 2014.
This event consisted of a 1.5km swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run.
Ian finished in a personal best time of one hour 59 minutes 54 seconds - this was also a ranking event for the Great Britain age-group team for the World Championships in Israel next year.
Ian has competed in this event twice already in Edinburgh and Ireland.
Now living in Linlithgow, he is a member of West Lothian Tri-club, but always looks forward to returning to Fife to compete in the local East Fife event.
Ian completed his season by finishing fifth overall and third senior (over 30) in the Ben Nevis challenge on Sunday.
The event consists of a 1900m loch swim, a 90km mountain bike ride and a 21km hill run up Ben Nevis, and Ian completed the course in four hours 49 minutes.
