Glenrothes cyclist Jim Meek, Team Leslie Bike Shop/Right Move Windows, kept his good form from the cyclo-cross season with a fine 43rd place and 13th veteran out of a field of 400 riders in the Hit the North off road event at Philips Park, Manchester at the weekend.
This followed his fine 12th place in the British Cyclo-Cross championships in January.
This coming week sees the first of the local reliability trials with Fife Century Road Club holding their annual event from Falkland Village hall.

A shorter 32 mile road run sets off at 10am and at the same time a mountain bike run of around two hours will leave from the hall.
