Green Brigade are now up to third in the table, their highest position of the season, after a 10-1 success against Jam City courtesy of goals from Liam Ivory (5), Mark Laing (2), Bryzo Strachen and Mark McCathie.

Bayern Bru remain in touch with the chasing pack in mid-table after picking up another two points with a hard fought 5-2 win against bottom of the table Inter UG. Mark Hunter bagged a hat-trick with Matty Wood and Sean Smith adding the other goals to secure a comfortable win.

Multiple Scoregasm remain second, level on points with Blue Order but way behind on goal difference after they ground out a 3-0 victory over fourth placed Inter Methil.

Darren FC rounded off a brilliant night of football as they locked horns with Convicks in what was the final game for the latter before they move down to the newly formed Division One. Reigning champions Darren FC ran out 3-2 winners as they look to stabilise their season after a series of defeats recently.

League secretary, Paul Space,y said: “The battle at the top between Blue Order and Multiple continues to be very close with neither side giving an inch.

“Green Brigade are also right in the running for the title now with games in hand as we get to the halfway stage in the season.

“The new Division One extension means we now have 20 local teams taking part in the competition, which is fantastic considering we had just eight only six months ago.”

The new Division One kicks off next week.
