PETER Alliss, the ‘voice of golf’, will reveal a fascinating insight into his life and work at a fundraising event in St Andrews next month.

In the latest in a series of ‘Look Who’s Talking’ events presented by the Rotary Club of St Andrews, an evening with Peter Alliss will be held in The Hall of Champions, The Old Course Hotel, at 7.30 p.m on Tuesday, July 30.

The event is sponsored by Murray Donald Solicitors, with tickets raising much-needed funds for local charity ‘Keepers of the Green’ and other Rotary charities.

Peter Alliss, legendary professional golfer, BBC television presenter and commentator, author and golf course designer, will be broadcasting live from the Ricoh Women’s British Open 2013, which takes place in the town from August 1 to 4.

During the ‘Look Who’s Talking’ event, Peter Alliss will talk with Renton Laidlaw, writer and golf commentator, sharing stories, anecdotes and giving his unique insight into the golfing world. Peter Alliss will also take questions from the audience.

Tickets, priced £15, are available from Murray Donald Solicitors – either in person at any Murray Donald office, or by calling (01334) 460949.
