STAR Hearts have the chance to end the season with silverware following two semi-final wins last midweek.
After a 2-2 draw at Windygates against Eastvale, Hearts progressed to the final of the Scottish Brewers Cup by virtue of a 4-3 penalty shoot-out win.
Their opponents in this Friday’s final will be Lumphinnans United. The game will be played at Dallas Doyle Park, Ballingry, with a 7 p.m. kick- off.
The Treaton Park side will also contest the final of the Fence N Deck Cup following a 3-1 away win over Leven United.
Cupar Hearts will be their opponents in this one, which will be played on Friday, June 21, at Kettle Park, Kingskettle with a 7 p.m. kick-off.
The matches could be Star Hearts’ last at amateur level, as the club has applied to join the junior ranks next season.
Upgrades are currently being made to Treaton Park to get it up to junior standard.
The club, which currently plays in the Kingdom Caledonian League, is also merging with Kennoway AFC to be renamed Kennoway Star Hearts for next season.
