PITTENWEEM Tennis Club hosted the latest in a series of NE Fife Clubs Red Ball Tournaments for 7-11 year olds on Sunday.

Forty children took part from various local clubs in a morning of tennis designed to introduce young players to social tournaments, improve skills and generally have fun on a tennis court.

There were some great rallies, tight calls and neat returns from the young players, with Anstruther 1 just beating Pittenweem 1 and Duffus in a close set of results.

Scorers were impressed by some keen play, and were fortified by refreshments organised by the parents and friends of the club, who wish to thank all concerned
