Walkup to represent Glenrothes in world championships

SWIMMER Lucy Walkup recently achieved placings in a recent sports event.

Glenrothes swimmers competed recently at the Incas Distance Meet at FIPRE.

Rachael Graveling swam in the 200IM and 200 Free and did very well in her first distance gala.

Louise Feenie swam in the 200IM, 200 Breast, 200 Free, 400 Free, 400IM and 200 Back and secured three second places, one third a fourth and a sixth place over the two day event.

Lucy Walkup swam in the 200IM, 200 Breast and 200 Back and achieved a fifth, sixth and twelfth place in this competition. Lucy then left the Incas Meet to take part in a Scottish Disability Sport Development Gala at Stirling University. Lucy secured two gold’s, a silver and bronze in 200IM, 100 Breast, 100 Free and 100 Back events.

Lucy is in full preparation for the upcoming World Deaf Swimming Championships.
