MARTIAL arts enthusiasts in Levenmouth were treated to a seminar by the undefeated six times world kickboxing champion Bill ‘Superfoot’ Wallace.
Mr Wallace, who has also worked in many movies with Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan and Mickey Rourke – as well as being a former friend and karate instructor to Elvis Presley – was invited to the area by local men Bert and James Ford, who are both sixth dans in karate.
Over 80 martial artists attended the seminar, where Mr Wallace shared his vast knowledge of martial arts along with his experiences in the movie industry – including the tragic tale of when he found ‘Blues Brothers’ actor John Belushi’s body.
While in Fife, Mr Wallace also officially opened the Dojo at Dowies Gym in Leven, where Bert Ford conducts karate for adults and children on a Monday and Friday and mixed martial arts on a Thursday and Saturday.
Anton Putka, owner of the gym, provided a plaque to mark the event and commented: “There is no one bigger I could have asked to open the Dojo.”
