Rugby men take Sevens runners-up position
Glenrothes’ senior season came to an end on Saturday when they were beaten in the final of the Ferris Cup at the Howe of Fife 7’s tournament.
This followed on from a semi-final appearance at Kirkcaldy and a quarter-final at Highland in the previous two weeks.
The players will be looking forward to a short break before beginning their preparations for life in Caledonia Division 2, Midlands and hopefully to achieving more success than the season just completed.
Sunday saw the club’s annual Minis Tournament with about 150 boys and girls from Primary four to Primary seven competing at four different age groups.

Prizes on the day were presented by former British Lion and Glenrothes player and manager Iain Paxton, with the local team picking up the fair play award.
The club’s annual general meeting takes place on Friday at 7pm and all members are urged to attend.
Saturday, 26 May sees the annual barbeque and fun day. tickets for which are available behind the bar.
