Tayport roared to victory at Albyn Park, scoring three times in the last 10 minutes to come from behind to defeat the previously unbeaten Broxburn.
Alan Tulleth orchestrated the grand comeback, firstly by netting the equalising goal in the 81st minute.
Kris Rollo had been fouled 25 yards out and Tulleth stepped up to bend the free kick past ‘keeper Gary Maley and into the net.
Five minutes later Tulleth saw a snapshot pushed over the bar by Maley and from the corner Tayport took a dramatic lead.
There was a scramble in the box and the ball was cleared to Stefan Elvin who rattled an unstoppable volley past a crowd of players for a terrific counter.
Rather than attempt to hold onto the narrow lead, the Canniepairt outfit sought to seal their win with a third goal and did just that.
Stefan Elvin drove into the Broxburn area and centred for Gary Sutherland who neatly touched it back into the path of the on-rushing Tulleth.
The Tayport star was in determined mood and he thundered his strike into the back of the net.
Tulleth had been a thorn in the Broxburn side during the first half as well.
He twice tested the goalkeeper with free kicks, which had to be pushed around the post, in the opening half hour.
Elvin saw a shot blocked after positive play from Tulleth, so it was something of a blow when the Albyn Parkers took the lead in the final minute of the half.
A neat move enabled Kieran Anderson to find space in the box, but Gavin Wilson made a fine stop, at the expense of a corner.
From the delivery, the ball flashed into the net at the near post.
Broxburn could have doubled their advantage on 78 minutes, with Wilson having to save from James Donaldson.
