The 2014 triathlon season got off to a flying start last Saturday for Glenrothes Triathlon Club as it notched up three firsts.

A trio of club members managed to complete their first sprint distance triathlon. This is a distance which is made up from a 750 metre swim, 20 km cycle and ending with a 5 km run.

The focus for the club is now on the next event which is the East Fife Triathlon which will be held at the Cupar Sports Centre, Carslogie Road, on April 13.
