Preparations for Fife Flyers’ 2013-14 campaign are coming together at pace - on and off the ice.
Flyers have this week welcomed back Kirkcaldy born forward Jamie Wilson.
And they were also linked to Adam Walker, the Fife-born player recently released by Braehead Clan.
His possible return would cover the loss of John Dolan to Dundee.
Wilson, aformer team captain, iced in 56 games last season.
Danny Stewart, associate coach, said: “Down the stretch Jamie showed the way he can play at this level. We played him out of position at the start of the season and although he did a good job with for us you could see he was much more comfortable at season’s end on the wing.
“We will look to Jamie to carry on where he left off and play physical for us, be accountable in his own end and chip in with a few goals.”
Wilson is looking forward to the new season.
He told the Press: “I would liked to have notched up a few more points last season and that will be something I will be looking to improve on this upcoming season.”
