LAUREN Brown was crowned as the Queen of Crail on Saturday during a day of spectacular fun packed entertainment in the Neuk.
Beechwalk Park in the village was packed as residents and visitors descended to enjoy the many fun stalls and attractions including pony rides, beat the goalie and traditional gala raffles.

Thankfully, the weather stayed dry throughout the day meaning that young and old could enjoy the Crail Queen Day festivities in all their glory.

The day was organised by Crail Primary School's Parent Teacher Association and Crail Queen Lauren was crowned by one of last year's attendants, Ruth Dickson.

Lauren was accompanied on the day by fellow classmate Lizzie Knox and page boy Johnny Harris.

Eileen Wood from the PTA said: "The day was great and the kids really enjoyed it.

"We want to say a big thanks to all the local businesses and the community council for helping out."

The PTA raised a total of around £1300 for the primary school.
