Well-known Radio Five Live broadcaster, Roddie Forsyth, was a winner at the recent Hidden Gardens of St.Andrews event organized by the StAndrews Preservation Trust.
Roddie is the radio station's commentator on Scottish football and a very well-known voice on Five Live.

In a raffle held at Greenside Cottage, one of the 12 hidden gardens and the home of Mr and Mrs Andrew Yule, the prize was a signed limited edition print of the Swilken Bridge and 18th fairway of the Old Course by well-known local artist and owner of the Hillcrest Studio Gallery in Strathkinness, Ken Roberts.

Roddie, who was on a family holiday in St Andrews, was presented with the print by the artist himself.

He told the Citizen: ''I am delighted to have won the prize.''

He intends to gift the framed print to his father-in-law, who has recently had to give up golf because of ill health.
