LOWER Largo man Keith Partridge will be reliving his recent climb of Mount Everest at two illustrated talks in Lundin Links this week.
The evening events will tell of Keith’s adventure as part of a party taking an Olympic medal to the top of the Himalayan peak as a tribute to a tragedy-struck team of British climbers who narrowly missed out on becoming the first to top the mountain in 1922. Keith is just one of a handful of camermen in the UK capable of filming in such extreme conditions.
The talks are on Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, in the Montrave Hall, with proceeds going to Lundin Mill Primary School. Tickets are available from the Lundin Links Pharmacy and Premiere Stores in Lower Largo.
