THE Scottish Fisheries Museum has welcomed London-born self-taught artist John Baker with a varied exhibition of his colourful work.
Mr Baker has lived in Scotland for over 40 years and currently stays in a cottage just outside Elie where he runs his studio, Artick Design.
A long-standing interest in art has encouraged him to experiment and utilise many types of medium in his work such as oils, water colours, pen and ink, chalk pastels, pencils and even household emulsion paint.
The exhibition runs until November 16 and is open Mondays to Saturdays 10am until 3.30pm, Sundays 12pm until 3.30pm.
The museum will also host a 1950s family fun day on October 12.
The event is being held to mark the end of the Jubilee-inspired exhibition ‘A New Dawn’.
Drop in between 11.30am – 12.30 pm for a 50s inspired children’s art workshop priced at £2 per child.
