Two of television’s favourite antiques experts are coming to Fife next week.
Simon Schneider and Tim Hogarth, best known for their apperances on shows such as Dicksonson’s Real Deal and Secret Dealers, are coming to Kirkcaldy and Leslie – and they want your antiques!
With almost 60 years’ combined experience of buying and selling antiques, gold and silver, the pair regularly work together to offer the public an opportunity to sell their heirlooms direct.
Simon said: “Tim and I receive so many enquiries from people asking us to value and buy their antiques, gold and silver that we decided to work together and offer the public a direct opportunity to meet us. We pay top cash prices and have hundreds of satisfied clients, happy to get a great deal.
“This will be the first time we have had an opportunity to visit Fife and we are looking forward to visiting Kirkcaldy and Leslie, Glenrothes.
“We hope people will search their cupboards and bring along their unwanted antiques and forgotten treasures to turn them into cash.”
Tim added: “Although we’re rivals on television Simon and I get on really well and the venues are great fun.
“Simon and I have our own specialities and together we cover all aspects of the antiques business. This means we can ensure we are able to offer the very best prices for those items we want to buy.”
So what kind of items can you expect to have success with? The pair suggest: Gold and silver, gold jewellery and pocket and vintage wrist watches - in any condition, diamond rings, pendants, earrings and broaches, etc, Silver Tea Sets, trays, caddies and trophies, Amber and Coral beads, medals, antique scent bottles and snuff boxes, oriental ceramics and lacquer items, bronzes and ivories, Royal Worcester, Clarice Cliff, Shelley and Moorcroft, art nouveau and art deco items, Lalique and Galle glass, enamelled boxes and card cases, unusual walking sticks, high quality and unusual decorative items.
The dealers will be appearing at the Victoria Hotel in Kirkcaldy on Wednesday, September 14 between 10am and 5pm and at the Greenside Hotel in Leslie on Thursday, September 15 between 10am and 5pm.
