Bundles of writing from Maggie's Centres

‘Bundles of Bog Cotton’ is a collection of prose and poetry produced by the groups from the cancer care centres around Scotland.
It is on sale now with all money raised going to Maggie’s.
Tom Leonard the Scottish poet, writer and critic, was hugely impressed with the contributions.

He said: ‘‘It is a mind-opener as well as a locus of solidarity for the cancer affected.”
Creative writing is part of the programme of support at many Maggie’s Centres.
Jayne Wilding, who supervises the creative writing groups at Maggies Dundee and Maggie’s Fife, says: ‘Some people find that they can use writing as another tool in their kitbag for dealing with the changes they are going through ... others find that it can help them to “park emotional stuff” or literally to deal with pain.’
