B&M plans new Fife store on site of former Dobbies

A former garden centre is to be demolished to make way for a new B&M store which will create 48 jobs.

The discount retailer has lodged a planning application with Fife Council to demolish the former Dobbies Centre at Ridge Way, Hillend Industrial Estate, Dalgety Bay, and move on to the site.

It would site next to the Asda superstore which anchors the retail park.

Dobbies closed the popular site 12 months ago to focus on its store in nearby Dunfermline.
