A town centre store remains closed almost one week after being flooded.

New Look in Kirkcaldy’s High Street is still clearing up after being badly hit by the torrential rain which fell during last Tuesday’s overnight thunderstorms.

The shop is running a click and collect service while it tackles the damage in-store.

A notice on its Facebook page said: “Anyone who has had a parcel delivered to the store or who was waiting to collect since we've been closed.

“Staff will be in store from Monday - anyone wishing to collect a parcel this can be collected from the front door.

“Store still remains closed hoping to be trading soon.”

“We would just like to thank you for your patience.”
