Plans unveiled for new toddler swimming centre in Fife

Plans for a toddler swimming centre have been lodged with Fife Council.

The application, if granted, would see a former baby and toddler centre at Carnegie Campus Business Park in Dunfermline converted.

Applicant, Gillian Currie, has run the swim centre out of school, community and hotel pools for the past eight years.

But the pandemic meant a change.

She said: “Due to coronavirus, this is not going to be possible moving forward - the only way to sustain the business is to seek out private premises.”
